What's this blog about, then?

This blog is about my personal mission to learn and study as much as I can, without spending the vast amounts of money which are frequently wanted by the companies that run distance learning courses.

However, there is also an increasing trend for reputable educational institutions to offer some parts of their study material available for free study.

So the blog will try to collect together information about the places doing this, and my own experiences taking these courses.
